Tributes paid to tragic Edinburgh lad, 17, who sadly died at the weekend as crowdfunder raises £3.5k
Devastated friends and family have paid tribute to the boy, named locally as Mark Wilson
TRIBUTES have poured in for a tragic young Edinburgh teen who has passed away.
The lad, named locally as Mark Wilson, 17, sadly died on Sunday leaving friends and family devastated.
In the days since his shock death they have been flooding social media with heartfelt tributes.
And a crowdfunder has been set up in order to raise funds for Mark's family and for the creation of a memorial for loved ones to remember him by.
Hannah Sked said: "Never thought I’d be writing this, we will never really know what’s going on behind someone’s big smile. Rest in peace Mark Wilson you’ll never leave our minds."
Jai Aitken wrote: "Take every moment for granted as you never know what’s round the corner, RIP Mark Wilson taken far too soon."
Josh Elder said: "Can't believe I'm having to write this but will miss you so much bro, genuinely one of a kind."
Dylan Thomson said: "Rest easy Mark by brother, not a bad bone in your body. Love you always."
Oliver Johnston added: "You'll be missed brother wish you could see how much everyone cared."

And the justgiving.com page set up by friend Stephen Tansey has almost smashed its £3,500 target.
In the 16 hours since it was set up, generous donations have totalled £3,486 from a total of 266 people.

Abbie McLaren passed away after the collision with cops and ambulance teams racing to The Loaning in the town after the alarm was raised at around 4.15pm.
