Emergency services race to River Clyde in Glasgow amid concerns for woman’s safety
EMERGENCY services have raced to the River Clyde amid concerns for a woman's safety.
Several police, fire and ambulance vehicles are currently at the scene, near to the city centre.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "About 12.50pm today police received a report of a woman threatening to jump into the river at Clyde Street."
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson confirmed crews were currently in attendance at the operation on the banks of the river.
A spokesperson said: "We have four appliances in attendance at the incident."
