Glasgow Clyde Tunnel closed – Man rushed to hospital after horror plunge on to busy road
A MAN has been rushed to hospital following a horror plunge close to the Clyde Tunnel in Glasgow.
Emergency services were scrambled to the scene first thing this morning - with the road locked down.
And the Glasgow City Council confirmed that police were dealing with an "incident" in the area.
Officer say that the man fell on to the A739 earlier.
And he had been taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital for treatment.
His condition isn't known.

Council bosses warned drivers that there were local diversions in place.
A spokesperson for the council said: "Due to an ongoing Police incident, the A739 Clyde Tunnel Expressway (Southbound) is currently closed at the Govan Road Overbridge.
"The Southbound Bore remains open although all traffic is being diverted via the Govan Road off slip.
"Road users should expect delays".
Council bosses said that the road was fully reopened around 10.41am.
