Glasgow flat blasted by gun thugs has links to drug dealer Euan ‘EJ’ Johnston shot dead in gangland execution
A FLAT targeted by gun thugs in a drive-by attack is linked to a drug dealer slain in a brutal gangland execution, we can reveal today.
Neighbours were left terrified this week as a volley of shots was aimed at the property in Hamiltonhill, Glasgow.
It has connections to murdered hood Euan ‘EJ’ Johnston, 26, who was blasted in the head as he sat in his motor in November 2016.
And tonight detectives appealed for help to track down the maniacs behind the latest shooting, which they described as “incredibly reckless”.

No one was hurt in Thursday night’s incident when the occupants of a dark four-door car opened fire on the house before they were seen speeding away.
Today a window was boarded up at the pad, which has cameras trained on a front door protected by metal bars.
When approached there, a man declined to comment. But one neighbour, who did not wish to be named, told us this was not the first attack at the address.
They said: “I heard a huge bang and thought it was a car backfiring. It’s at least the third time someone has tried to shoot the guy in that house.”
The Scottish Sun on Sunday can link the flat to 29-stone hit victim Johnston.
He was gunned down after stopping his Audi RS4 at traffic lights in the city’s Kinning Park.
EJ was chatting to his partner Danielle Carruthers on the phone when an Audi Q5 pulled alongside and three shots rang out. David Scott, 34, was caged for at least 22 years for the murder in 2018.

We told how two of EJ’s associates were also killed. Kenny Reilly, 29, was shot in the city’s Maryhill in April 2018.
And Billy Joe Bates, 28, died seven months later after an attack in nearby Milton.
Tonight, Detective Inspector John Morrison said: “I appeal to anyone who was in the area on Thursday night and saw the car to come forward.”
