Man rushed to hospital after being found seriously injured on Glasgow street as cops launch probe

A MAN has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after he was found on a Glasgow street.

The man, 55, was discovered with the injuries by emergency services on Castlebay Street, Milton at around 3.30pm.

He was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment.

Officers do not yet know how the injuries were sustained.

Cops have launched a probe into the circumstances surrounding the man's injuries.

A Police spokesperson told the Glasgow Times: "Around 3.30 pm on Monday, 6 July, 2020, a 55 year-old man was found with serious injuries in Castlebay Street, Glasgow.

"He was taken by ambulance to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he is currently being treated.

"Police enquiries are ongoing to establish how he came about his injuries."
