A source said: “She’d have been dead by now if she hadn’t left in 2016.
“She was taking fainting turns due to pure pressure known as transient ischemic attacks, which cause you to pass out momentarily.
One scan showed she’d had so many TIAs they couldn’t count them.
“It could have proved fatal at any time.”
The TIAs, or mini-strokes, were due to a frayed artery in Rosie’s neck that allowed just 30 per cent blood flow to her brain. She had surgery to fix the artery last year.
We told how Kneeshaw, 52, hid his reign of terror “behind his cop uniform”.
He demanded Rosie and their girls, 25 and 23, follow his strict orders or he’d kill himself.
