EX-Rangers director Paul Murray flogged his ten-bedroom mansion for £2.25million just months before he stepped down from the club.
Mr Murray, 54, flogged luxury Faldonside House in Melrose, Roxburghshire, for a £750,000 profit in January.
Official documents revealed he and wife Gillian, 48, bought the plush pad for £1.5million in 2003.
We previously told how he put the “Georgian Country House” up for sale for offers over £2million last year.

It was described as having six reception rooms, six bathrooms and a floor area of around 13,166sq feet.
It also came with two flats, stables, a play area, pool table, tennis court, gym and a lake for trout fishing.
Mr Murray ended a three-year stint in the Gers boardroom in May.
He first became a director in 2007 but was removed during Craig Whyte’s takeover in 2011.

Mr Murray declined to comment on the property deal.
