FIRE crews have rushed to a blaze in Glasgow city centre after a 'big bang' was heard and flames were spotted.
Engines have raced to St Vincent Terrace in the Charing Cross area of the city near the Mitchell Library.
Crews were called out at around 8.10pm this evening.
As many as 15 concerned onlookers rushed to call the service.

An eyewitness said: "Big Bang and now there is a fire over on Elderslie street and St Vincent street.
"Hope the residents are okay."
Cops also rushed to the scene as residents were evacuated from their homes.
But officers say the blaze has been contained to a garage and they are now being allowed back into the building.
Nobody has been injured.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson confirmed crews were in attendance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "Officers attended a fire on St Vincent Terrace.
"The fire was contained within the garage of the building.

"Residents were evacuated as a precaution while the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service attended.
"There were no injuries.
"Residents are now being allowed back into the building."
