MURDER cops are probing the "suspicious" death of a woman who plunged 100ft from the 11th floor of a block of flats in Glasgow
A 30-year-old woman fell from the high-rise building in Charles Street, Royston around 5.15pm on Monday.
She was rushed to hospital but died a short time later.
An eyewitness told of their horror after watching the woman fall.
Officers from the Major Investigations Team have now confirmed they are treating the death as suspicious.
Detective Inspector Aileen Boyle said: “A young woman has lost her life and it’s imperative we find out what happened.

“This is a highly populated area and I’m sure people will have witnessed the incident.
“I am appealing to them to contact us as we need as much information as possible so that we can piece together what has occurred.

“Local residents in the area will be shocked by this incident and I would like to reassure them that we will do all in our power to find out how this young woman died.”
Akm Faridzuzzman, 38, who lives on the 14th floor, said he saw the woman cling to someone’s hand at a window before she fell.
