Glasgow cops probe ‘suspicious’ death of man found in Possilpark street
COPS are probing the "suspicious" death of a man who was seriously injured in Glasgow.
Emergency services rushed to a block of flats in Possilpark at around 5pm.
Forensics officers in white suits are currently scanning Saracen Street, and locals are being told to avoid the area.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "At around 5pm, we received a report of a man with serious injuries within a common close in Saracen Street, Glasgow.
"Emergency services attended however the man died at the scene.
"A post mortem examination will be carried out in due course to establish the exact cause of death.
"The death is currently being treated as suspicious.
"A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
