Glasgow Lidl sealed off after customer ‘slit wrist’ in Possil supermarket

A LIDL store in Glasgow was locked down amid reports a man "cut his wrist".

Emergency services raced to Balmore Road in Possil at around 1:50pm and people are being told to stay away from the area.

An ambulance and a number of police vehicles were sent to the scene.

A Police Scotland spokesperson: "Police Scotland was made aware of concerns for an injured man in the Balmore Road area shortly before 1.50pm.

"The man has subsequently been taken to hospital for treatment."

Lidl say they're "assisting police".
