Balloon vigil held for Rangers-daft Glasgow schoolboy Connor Luke, 17, after ‘drug death’

PALS of a Glasgow schoolboy - who died after a suspected drug overdose - have held a balloon vigil in his memory.

Connor Luke, 17, was remembered at an event in the city's Kelvingrove Park earlier.

Hundreds of colourful balloons were left off - including silver ones spelling out the lads name.

A minute's silence will take place at the Rangers match with Livingston tomorrow.

Tributes have been pouring in for the teen since he passed away on Monday morning.

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow.

Cops are probing his death - and are looking at where drugs were involved.

His heartbroken mum Carol took to Facebook after the tragic news - telling her beloved boy to “sleep tight”.

She wrote: “I became your mum at 18, then a knew what love was.

“A was so proud of that day u were my boy am going to miss u so much.

“Can’t believe your gone my hearts broken a love u more than life itself sleep tight my boy”.
