Ex-Celtic star Stuart Armstrong given the Valentine’s Day treatment by Southampton
The Premier League side used the song coined by Hoops fans regarding the Scotland international's hair
SOUTHAMPTON have used Stuart Armstrong as the focus of their Valentine's Day message to fans.
The former Celtic star was a fan's favourite during his time at Parkhead.. with his very own song about his hair.
And Saints used the anthem coined by Hoops supporters to the tune of Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark's Enola Gay to wish their fans a happy Valentine's Day.
They posted a clip of the midfielder reading a note on the field with an edited version that read "Someone likes you! Your hair is fine!"
Speaking during his time at Celtic, Armstrong revealed Kieran Tierney would sing the tune to him on a daily basis.
He said: "Kieran Tierney likes that one, he has been singing it to me.

“Especially as in this case too they have gone to a bit of effort with the lyrics, it is up to yourselves whether it is accurate or not.
“Our fans have got some good songs, one for Scott Brown and a few others. It is nice, especially when you are out on the pitch and you hear them singing your name.”
