Aberdeen win Michael Ruth race amid Rangers and Hibs interest in Queen’s Park kid
ABERDEEN have beaten Hibs and Rangers to snap up teenage striker Michael Ruth from Queen’s Park.
The 17-year-old had a trial with Rangers last summer and played in a tournament in Dusseldorf.
They kept tabs on his development last season, while the Dons and Hibs started tracking him in the final few months of the campaign.
Ruth made his Spiders debut last April, but he failed to make another appearance until March and went on to score once in the final seven games.
