Dundee hoping to sign Linfield ace Michael O’Connor as James McPake nears second signing
DUNDEE boss James McPake hopes to make Linfield striker Michael O'Connor his next signing.
Declan McDaid recently joined up from Ayr United to become the Dees' first capture of the summer.
McPake has already told how he won't rush into any deals but frontman O'Connor is one name he is keen on bringing to Scotland.
The Irishman scored 11 goals for David Healy's men in all competitions including seven in the NIFL Premiership while also providing three assists.
His deal expires on June 30 and Dundee would be able to pick him up on the cheap.
Dens assistant manager Jimmy Nicholl also would have knowledge of the player and league.
