Inverness and Morton keen on ex-Celtic Youth Cup Final hat-trick hero Aidan Nesbitt

Inverness and Morton are both keen on the 22-year-old - who will take his time before choosing his next club.

Nesbitt came through the youth ranks at Parkhead and scored a hat-trick in an SFA Youth Cup Final win over Rangers in May 2015.

Four months later he made his top team debut for the Hoops.

Loan spells at Partick Thistle and Morton followed before Robbie Neilson took him to MK Dons in 2017, where he featured in 27 games for the English outfit.

Neilson returned north of the border with Dundee United and snapped up the forward shortly after taking over the reins at Tannadice.

However, after only starting two games during his four month spell, he was released prior to the play-off final loss to St Mirren.

Both Caley Thistle and Morton are interested in giving him a chance of a return to the Championship but after not playing much football in the past two seasons, the striker wants to ensure that his next move is the right one for him.
