Dundee investigate bed frame found on pie kiosk roof by Aberdeen fans
DUNDEE have launched an official investigation into a bizarre incident last weekend.
Aberdeen fans in the away end were queuing up for their half-time pies in the Bob Shankly Stand during the Betfred Cup game against the Dens side.
They were left mystified when they spotted a large bed frame and a number of black rubbish bags on the roof of a pie stall.
The Dark Blues are now looking into the situation, claiming the incident was an error by stadium staff.
A pic of the bed frame sitting high above the fans has since gone viral on social media.
A post, uploaded shortly after Sam Cosgrove's winner at the match, read: "Still trying to figure out why Dundee have rubbish bags and a bed frame on top of the pie kiosk?"
A club spokesperson confirmed the item has been removed from the kiosk.
Their statement read: "The club has investigated this situation and is more than satisfied there was no hygiene issue.

“The items should not have been stored here and have now been removed.”
James McPake's side more than matched Premiership Aberdeen for large chunks of the game at Dens.
Striker Danny Johnson had the Tayside club in front, however goals from defender Andy Considine and Lazio target Cosgrove sealed Aberdeen's progress to the quarter-finals.
