Picture of ex-Rangers hero Ryan Kent ‘spotted’ back in Scotland goes viral

RYAN KENT has got Rangers fans excited again after a picture of him 'spotted' in Scotland went viral.

Light Blues boss Steven Gerrard has been desperate to bring the winger back to Ibrox on loan this season.

And he even admitted he was prepared to wait until the last second of the transfer window to land the Liverpool ace.

But Anfield boss Jurgen Klopp put a massive dent in Rangers' hopes when he appeared to rule out any more temporary moves for Kent.

Yesterday, reports claimed that the 22-year-old was set to "down tools" at Melwood in order to force through an Ibrox return.

And Light Blues fans got excited overnight when a picture of Kent was accompanied by claims he was back in Scotland.

An image doing the rounds on social media apparently showing the winger and his girlfriend at the Duck Bay Marina restaurant at Loch Lomond went viral.

However, while some supporters speculated that the picture was taken yesterday, it is not clear when he was actually there.

And as Kent's girlfriend is Scottish, it is possible he may have just been visiting her.

Either way, it has got many Rangers fans dreaming about his return.

@Vanderhogg tweeted: "Ryan Kent is dining at Duck Bay Marina. Yes."

@_Acaitken said: "I'm seeing rumours of Ryan Kent coming back? Rangers tell me it's true so I can crack open a bottle."

@Lennon3773 added: "Omg it's happening Ryan Kent is coming home."

@Caitlyn_niven commented: "Ryan Kent, come back to Glasgow."

While @_JamieBuchan posted: "My heart cannot take anymore of this Ryan Kent stuff, just come home my darlin."

Meanwhile, the Ibrox club have sold over ten times more tickets than Celtic managed for their away trip to Legia Warsaw.

They will have around 1,700 fans in the Polish club's stadium for tomorrow evening's Europa League play-off.
