The 28-year-old also has interest from England but no concrete offers have been made due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking as a guest on 360 TFT, he said: "I've spoken to a few clubs, there's three teams in the Premiership in Scotland.

"There was a couple down in England, obviously with the virus, they can't put an offer on the table.

"There is definitely interest there.

"I'm just waiting to see what comes up in the next month to six weeks and see where it takes us."

Murray was sold by the Hibees to Bidvest Wits in 2018.

After a successful stint in the lower leagues he earned a £50,000 move to Dundee United from Arbroath in 2015.

He then made the move to Easter Road on a free following the expiry of his contract at Tannadice.

During his time in the capital he spent a spell on loan at Dundee before being sold in the summer of 2018.

SUM OF ALL FEARS The cash EVERY Premiership club could lose if Hearts' plan becomes reality

Meanwhile, Steven Whittaker, Adam Bogdan and Vykintas Slivka will all leave Easter Road when their contracts run out next month.

And they will be joined on the way out by development squad trio Jack Hodge, Kosovar Sadiki and Matthew Yates.

The conformation of the departures came just hours after the Hibees announced that their four loanees would also return to their parent clubs.

Greg Docherty will head back to Rangers, Marc McNulty and Stephane Omeonga will go to Reading and Genoa respectively, and Jason Naismith returns to Peterborough.
