Still Game fans hail latest episode as ‘best in years’

"Massive massive difference from the s***e that’s been dished out the past few years."

Hemphill shared the Tweet to his own followers.

He said: "There’s no compliment like a Glasgow compliment".

We told you earlier how fans hailed last night's ep as Winston and Winnie tied the knot.

Old favourite Winston has been in the show since the start and has never really experienced much luck.

But the one-legged pensioner seems to have finally found his happy ever after with Winnie, who he met earlier in the final series.

In the show, he made the impulsive decision to ask her to marry him during a slap-up lunch after scooping £400 on a 40/1 shot from Stevie the bookie.

Despite her excitedly saying yes, he began to doubt whether he could deliver after promising her the world.

But the Craiglang crew came together - with Jack and Victor using a contact at the People's Palace to get a venue, Isa and Peggy sorting the food and Navid arranging an Indian honeymoon.
