Pride 2019: LGBTQ events, festivals and parades across the UK
BRIGHTON Pride may have been and gone but celebrations of Britain's LGBTQIA community are still in full swing across the country.
As Plymouth and Manchester's festival approaches, here's the lowdown on what's going on outside of London Pride.
Plymouth: August 10
The parade in Plymouth begins at 11am from the Jigsaw Garden, with activities starting at 10am.
It ends at Plymouth Hoe where there will be a live festival, fun fair, food and a licensed bar.
The musical event is free and will also feature 70 stalls and exhibitors.
The Saturday event is the culmination of a week long celebration of art workshops and events by Drake Circus.
Manchester: August 23-26
The annual celebrations in Manchester will feature performances from Ariana Grande, Years and Years, Emeli Sande and Basement Jaxx.
Tickets for the 2019 event start from £10 and has the theme Deep Space Pride: A World of Future Equality.
Manchester has been celebrating Pride since 1985 and the city's gay village is open to everyone who wants to celebrate.
In fact it is illegal for someone to obstruct another person from accessing the gay village in Canal Street during Pride. Its event in 2018 had 4,000 participants.
Bolton: September 20-23
The LGBTQ event in Bolton is happening later in the year from Friday, September 20, until Monday, September 23.
The parade takes place on Saturday from 10am until 1pm.
It's free and open to all.
Plus there will be a wide variety of stalls available.
Thousands of people take part in the parades and celebrations each year
