WWE announce three NXT UK dates for Glasgow, Download Festival and Plymouth
BRITISH wrestling fans are in for a treat after WWE announced three upcoming sets of NXT UK tapings.
The company’s newest brand, spearheaded by Triple H, is hitting Glasgow, Download Festival and Plymouth as it prepares to build on last month’s epic inaugural Takeover: Blackpool.
NXT UK hits Scotland for the first time ever with two nights of tapings on Friday 19 and Saturday 20 April at Glasgow’s Braehead Arena.
Then stars such as Pete Dunne, Walter, Rhea Ripley and Toni Storm will rock Donning Park as they perform at the Download Festival from Friday 14 to Sunday 16 June.
“The Game” will then lead his NXT UK performers south as they return to the Plymouth Pavilions for two consecutive nights of action, beginning on Friday 19 July.
Tickets for Download are available now, the Glasgow ones go on sale this Friday from 10am, and you can purchase those for Plymouth from a week today.
A host of fan favourites will be in attendance for all of the events – as well as some of the most-hated.
Both UK Champ Dunne and the Women’s Title holder Toni Storm will be in action.

While NXT UK’s first-ever Tag Team Champions The Grizzled Young Veterans are set to draw another hostile reaction from the crowds.
Glasgow will also no doubt be giving its support to fellow Scotsmen Joe Coffey and the rest of Gallus And NXT UK’s biggest newcomer – literally – Walter is due to be in action too.
