There isn't a great deal to get excited about, but Carlisle host several decent races, with one runner a solid each-way proposition.
LORD DU MENSIL (2.25 Carlisle) looks one to side with for the underrated trainer Richard Hobson.
The French recruit ran his best race on these shores when a close third in a good race at Newcastle last time.
That was over 2m6f and he was doing his best work at the finish, so the step up in trip here will be a big plus.
He gets cheekpieces for the first time and looks on a potentially dangerous mark now going handicapping.
