Unaware about what's around the corner, Evelyn, who also doesn't see eye-to-eye with trouble making Hope, suggested that Tyrone "chuck" Fiz out after he asked her it was time to find a place of her own.

Speaking in the Rovers, she said: "Chuck her out! You're not married.

"The house is in your name, you wouldn't have to give her a penny and then you could join one of those dating apps. Find yourself a nice young lady, who hasn't spawned a devil child."

Left speechless from her commentary, Tyrone answered back: "I don't want anybody else, I want Fiz. And I don't want anyone talking about her like that. She's a great mum to both of them girls."

Knowing it's a loosing battle, Evelyn, played by Maureen Lipman, toys with Tyrone's empathy and emotionally manipulates him about the situation.

"You're alright, fine," she sulked. "We'll just agree to differ. I'll keep my mouth shut from now on."

"I fired a warning shot across my bows but you can't throw me out in the street."

Assuring her, Tyrone said: "I'm not going to but I have to put the girls first. All of them right?
"We're still going to see lots of each other and I'll make sure you find somewhere decent."

She sullenly said: "Well I should think so, I'm not going to go house hunting at my time of life. I don't know what I'll do because when you asked me to move in, you said: 'You'll never be on your own again'."

To which, Tyrone replied: "And we'll still see lots of each other."

"Not if Fiona has anything to do with it, we won't," she fired back.

However, Evelyn won't be going anywhere any time soon as Fiz is set to make a heartbreaking departure from the cobbles after her daughter Hope's behaviour spirals out of control.

Fiz and Tyrone are faced with a big decision when Hope bites her his daughter Ruby and faces the wrath of grandma Evelyn by putting her dog Cerberus on a tram to Rochdale.

The couple are left with no other choice but to send her to a special behavioural school in Birmingham.

Fiz reluctantly bids farewell to Tyrone so she can move with her daughter until she’s been helped by professionals.
