Coronation Street fans’ fury as soap cancelled TONIGHT for England’s Euro 2020 qualifier
This week The Underworld's roof collapsed and Rana died in tragic scenes on her wedding day
CORONATION Street fans are furious that Coronation Street is cancelled tonight for England's footie match with the Czech Republic.
This week viewers have been treated to some of the most dramatic scenes ever as the factory roof collapsed and Rana died after getting trapped beneath the rubble.
But the aftermath will be interrupted as the show is being taken off air tonight in favour of the football.
Fans hoping to watch Corrie will instead get the Euro 2020 qualifier between England and Czech Republic on ITV instead.
Coronation Street usually has double episodes on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, but next week it will air Monday, Wednesday and Sunday.
The change in schedule means fans won't be able to see the next episode until Sunday, with the broadcaster instead airing an hour-long episode, to find out how everyone reacts to Rana's death.
The news has already gone down badly with viewers, who have taken to Twitter to discuss it.
One person tweeted: “Sadly no @itvcorrie on Friday next week because of the Euro 2020 qualifier football match sad.”
While another remarked: “The football ruins everything. Wish it wasn’t on.”
On Wednesday night viewers were left devastated as Rana insisted she got married to fiancée Kate in the rubble after Imran helped her battle through the police to see the nurse for one last time.
"Tell me your vows," she told Kate.
An upset Kate gave in and told her: "You're everything to me, my whole life. Someone said love is one soul in two bodies and that's us.
"I can't exist without you. You are the most beautiful person in the whole world. And you look a million times better than I do.

"And then I was going to go on to say I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you. All my love, always."
Rana smiled but said she couldn't remember her vows and began to panic before telling her: "I don't want to leave you."
She eventually found the words and after telling Kate how much she loved her, she added: "All my love, always."
Rana then passed away as Kate broke down in sobs as she lay with her wife in the ruins of the factory.
Viewers will have to wait to see what happens next and find out who the person seen tampering with the factory roof.
