EastEnders spoilers: Stacey Fowler breaks down as she faces Ruby Allen’s rapist in court
In an upcoming episode of EastEnders Stacey's emotions are pushed to the limit as she's cross examined in the dock
EMOTIONAL Stacey Fowler breaks down in tears as she's cross-examined in best pal Ruby Allen's EastEnders rape trial.
In an upcoming episode of the soap Stacey's emotions are pushed to the limit as she answers questions in the dock.
Having fiercely fought her friend's corner since learning of the horrific crime, Stacey is determined to hep her get justice.
Tearful Ruby also struggles with her emotions as she's forced to recall the rape.
Viewers were left in shock last night when Ruby drugged her rapist Ross in a desperate bid to get revenge.
The troubled character proved that the apple doesn't drop far from the tree as she reminded fans of her gangster dad Johnny Allen during tonight's episode of the BBC One soap.
Earlier this week, Ruby - played by Louisa Lytton - was seen luring Ross to her flat by pretending to be somebody else on a dating app.
She insisted that all she wanted was an apology from her rapist and she would drop the case, with the soap's iconic doof doofs playing out when Ross collapsed after being spiked with a date rape drug.
Fans were stunned by Ruby's move to the dark side, taking to social media to share their response.
One viewer tweeted: "You can definitely tell that Ruby is Johnny Allen's daughter."
Another wrote: "Oh, Ruby - that won't help."
A third said: "Ruby this is a bad idea, whatever you're doing don't."
Ruby was at the centre of a moving storyline surrounding the issue of consent after she was raped by Ross and his friend Matt last year after a drunken night out at the E20.
The businesswoman reported the crime to the police with the support of her best friend, Stacey Fowler, but it is yet to go to court.
Fans watched Ross let himself into Ruby's flat, believing that it belonged to a girl called Scarlett.
Upon realising that he had been tricked, Ross seethed: "You are one messed up little girl, luring me here like this.
"Catfishing? Do you get off on being other people? Do you like a bit of role play?"
He then started recording on his phone before Ruby told him that she just wanted to offer him a deal.
She then claimed that she'd made a "huge mistake" with the way she handled the incident and that she wanted to "make it up" to Ross and Matt because she "just wants her life back."
Ruby then told the villain: "Just say you are sorry and I will drop the court case."
Meanwhile, fans were horrified when they saw that Ross had text a photo of Ruby to Matt with the comment: "Round two?"

Disgusted Martin Fowler was the one to see the text, and was visibly fuming with it.
However, it was actually Ross who was in danger - with Ruby convincing him to share a drink with her before smirking as she revealed that it had been laced with a drug she'd bought online.
The character looked stoney-faced as Ross slumped to the floor, with it currently unknown what she plans to do next.
