POLICE are appealing for information following an arson attack on a car in Bradford which damaged a nearby house.

The incident happened between 1.30am and 1.40am on Wednesday, September 5,when a Vauxhall Zafira was set alight on the driveway of a house in Woodlark Close in the Clayton Heights area.

The suspect is believed to have attended the address in a vehicle and then used an accelerant to start the fire before returning to the vehicle and driving off towards Cooper Lane.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Katie Jones, of Bradford District CID, said: “We are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area at around this time.

“The fire was so serious that it caused some damage to a neighbouring property.”
