A BRADFORD-based designer's achievements have been recognised by the Lord Mayor.

Imran Khan, of IK Collections, met with the Lord Mayor of Bradford, Councillor Zafar Ali and was presented with a plaque and a badge.

"It was a lovely moment," Mr Khan said. "It felt really nice."

Mr Khan, who has three stores - one in Bradford's Westgate, plus two more in Manchester and Newcastle - has designed and created suits for a number of famous faces, including champion boxers Amir Khan and Tyson Fury, the late magician Paul Daniels, and TV antiques experts David Dickinson and David Harper from the Antiques Roadshow.

He also recently hit the headlines after he rushed to save the life of a woman after spotting her car was on fire while she was driving it.
