A DRIVER in Bradford's Saturday night came to an unexpected end yesterday after his car was seized by police, next door to a McDonald's restaurant.
The man had been driving a black Volkswagen Golf, which PC Claire Gray said had not been taxed since February.
The car was seized from close to the fast-food restaurant at around 9.17pm.
Playing on McDonald's iconic "I'm lovin' it" jingle, PC Gray tweeted: "I don’t think he was ba ba ba bap loving this!"
Carrying on the burger-themed puns, Traffic Constable David Minto replied: "You’re relishing this aren’t you?
"Lettuce know how he gets home. Hopefully he’s not too cheesed off at the prospect of a beefy taxi fare. When your chips are down though..."
PC Gray responded saying the driver wouldn't be getting home "in a McFlurry".
