A BRADFORD woman is desperate for people to get in touch if they have any photographs of her deceased mother, as a way for her and her daughter to remember her by.

Kathleen Mary Appleyard (née Burton), who was born in Holme Wood and also lived in Undercliffe, was just 34 when she passed away and daughter Amanda was only five years old.

Amanda has just turned 50, and with her 22-year-old daughter Courtney having moved to Nevada with her American husband two weeks ago, the pair are determined to have something to remember Kathleen by.

Tyersal resident Amanda said: "I have no photos of my mum and because she died when I was five, I have no real memory of her.

"With Courtney emigrating to America, I really wanted to get a photo for her as something to remember her by.

"I tried to get hold of her ex-husband to see if he had anything but I had no luck.

"Mum lived in Bradford her whole life so I feel like someone must have some photos of her."

"My vicar, Helen Hodgson, has been a real help in our search for my mum so I have to say thanks to her too."
