FAMILIES have taken advantage of the Bank Holiday weekend's fantastic weather to enjoy some Easter-themed fun.

Keighley's Cliffe Castle Museum and Park hosted a 'cracking' egg hunt - with a difference.

Bracewell the dragon, the museum's mascot, couldn't remember where he'd hidden some precious eggs, so called on children from across the district to locate them and find more about the mysterious creature who laid them.

Cliffe Castle ancestor Henry Isaac Butterfield and Bracewell joined in the fun and visitors were also able to have a go at handling exotic animals and reptiles, with help from Shipley firm Into the Wild.

The day also included dragon-themed craft activities and there was also the chance to get close to the park's resident rabbits.

And little ones also had an 'egg-citing' afternoon at the historic East Riddlesden Hall, where a Cadbury's Easter Egg Hunt took place.

Then on Easter Sunday, an Easter Egg Hunt was held in Thackley, organised by the local community, and there was also fun to be had at Shipley Glen Tramway.
