A teenager has been locked up for a total of more than four years after admitting a string of sexual offences.
Luke Kendall, 19, of Gaythorne Road, Little Horton, Bradford, was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court on a video link to HMP Doncaster.
Kendall was sent to a young offender institution for 51 months after pleading guilty to 12 offences relating to an underage girl and further charges involving an imitation firearm.
He admitted attempting to meet a child following sexual grooming; four offences of attempting to incite a child to engage in sexual activity; six offences of attempting to communicate sexually with a child; and attempting to cause a child to watch a sexual act.
Kendall was also sentenced for having in his possession an imitation firearm, namely a BB gun, in Manningham Lane, Bradford, on July 11 last year with intent to cause fear of violence, and damaging a window on the same date, intending to destroy or damage such property or being reckless as to whether such property would be destroyed or damaged.
