BRADFORD Bulls are proud to launch our 10,000 for £10 campaign ahead of our Armed Forces Day celebration – with monies raised going towards The Soldier's Charity.

Prior to the two sides doing battle on Sunday, June 23, a special curtain-raiser will take place with a hybrid Bradford-Halifax Women’s side facing off against a select UK Armed Forces Women’s team.

A special fan-zone will be positioned within the stadium with a host of activities for kids to enjoy throughout the afternoon.

The following military units will be attending: Royal Armoured Corps; Royal Dragoon Guards; Light Dragoons; 2nd Battalion – The Yorkshire Regiment; 4th Regiment – The Royal Artillery; 6th Regiment – Royal Logistic Corps; 4th Battalion – Yorkshire; Regiments Marching Band; Royal Logistic Corps’ Silver Stars Sky Diving Team; Army Foundation College (AFC) – Harrogate.

The units will be showcasing an array of weaponry and vehicles – with a number of exciting announcements to come in due course.

Amputees Andy Reid MBE and Ben Parkinson – who were severely injured while on operations in Afghanistan will be in attendance.

Meanwhile, Reid will be the club's guest of honour for our Armed Forces Day clash with Halifax.

The war veteran and amputee was awarded an MBE on the Queen’s Birthday Honours List for his voluntary service to veterans and people with disabilities.

Reid lost both his legs and his right arm in 2009 when he stood on an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) when serving in Afghanistan.

In 2010, he became a fundraiser and volunteer for The Soldier’s Charity and has raised more than £100,000 for the charity.

The RLC Silver Stars Army Parachute Display Team will deliver the match-ball to Reid prior to kick-off.

Tickets for the game are just £10 for Adults for the first 10,000 tickets sold – with juniors just £5. Serving Military/Veterans – with MOD 90 and/or Veterans Badge (FREE).
