Glasgow Warriors have been able to provide Gregor Townsend, the Scotland head coach, with an injury boost as a quartet of players who have been involved in recent national squads are ready to take on Connacht tonight.

Two major plusses are that scrum half George Horne has recovered from the shoulder he damaged against Saracens in January and starts. Forward Matt Fagerson, who picked up a similar injury the week before, is ready to come off the bench. Both would have been strong contenders for the Scotland squad in the Six Nations if they had been fit and now have two matches to try to battle their way back into the group before the Test against Wales.
