Scotland’s tallest building could be built in Dundee as part of the redevelopment of the city’s riverside area.

Advanced design work has been revealed for the 39-floor Discovery Heights building and discussions have taken place with interested investors. If given the go-ahead, the 462ft building would dwarf the Glasgow Tower, part of Glasgow Science Centre, which stands at 417ft.

Under designs created by the local development company Invertay Homes, the skyscraper would contain a five-star hotel, conference centre and luxury flats.
