In 1997, the old Cardiff Arms Park was crammed with 53,000 as Wales hosted England in the Five Nations Championship and were crushed 34-13. It was also the final time the brilliant Jonathan Davies walked off the Arms Park. Davies played both union and league for Wales and this photograph shows his emotion after a heavy defeat.
Only four years later, in 2001, Wales again hosted England, this time in the Six Nations at the new Millennium Stadium. Again the visitors put on a devastating display, winning 44-15.
