Comeuppance is a dish best served very cold indeed. That being so, there is something especially piquant about witnessing the state of the Conservative Party these days. Brexit is a revolution busy devouring its parents. A referendum that was held, at least in part, to keep the Tory tribes happy and more or less unified is instead splitting them like there’s no tomorrow.
