Tory woes may leave Davidson on the fringe

Comeuppance is a dish best served very cold indeed. That being so, there is something especially piquant about witnessing the state of the Conservative Party these days. Brexit is a revolution busy devouring its parents. A referendum that was held, at least in part, to keep the Tory tribes happy and more or less unified is instead splitting them like there’s no tomorrow. As indeed there may not be — at least from a Conservative perspective — if all this ends with Jeremy Corbyn taking up residence in Downing Street.
