Musical child prodigy Lydian Nadhaswaram has been roped in to compose music Barroz, veteran actor Mohanlal's directorial debut, according to reportss. The 13-yr-old boy made news recently after he won CBS' reality talent hunt—The World's Best—bagging 1 million dollars.

Lydian, a student of music maestro AR Rahman's academy, shocked judges and audience by playing a fast variant of 'The Flight of the Bumblebee', on the keyboard.

Barroz, Mohanlal's ambitious directorial debut has been written by Jijo Punnoose who gave India its first 3D movie—My Dear Kuttichathan. Barroz, a story on a Portuguese mythical figure who is believed to have guarded Vasco da Gama's treasures, is said to be another children's film. The team is believed to have roped in Lydian because it is a film that caters to children. Veteran cinematographer KU Mohanan will crank the camera for the film that will be bankrolled by Antony Perumbavoor under the banner of Aashirvad Cinemas.
