Uttar Pradesh: BJP goes all out to ensure parliament elections victory

The Uttar Pradesh BJP is throwing its full weight behind the coming parliament polls. After 'My First Vote to Modi’ campaign, the party has decided to rope in eight lakh bikers to reach out to all voters in Uttar Pradesh. The bikers will be on the streets from March 2, and will visit all 403 assembly constituencies as part of the 'Vijay Sankalp' campaign. There are around 1.63 lakh polling booths in the state. The party plans to ensure at least five bikers in every booth.

According to BJP general secretary Sunil Bansal, the rally will commence at 12pm on March 2. The bikers will carry saffron flags, and wear caps emblazoned with the lotus symbol. In urban areas, the bikers will cover 30kms. In rural areas, they will cover around 100kms. They will exhort the voters of the area to come out in favour of the BJP, and bring it back to the power in 2019.

BJP MPs, MLAs and officebearers will take part in this rally. In order to energise the cadre for the upcoming polls, party national president Amit Shah will visit various parts of the state. Prominent BJP leaders J.P. Nadda, who is the poll in-charge of Uttar Pradesh, chief minister Yogi Adityanath, state president Mahendranath Pandey and national vice president Dushyant Kumar Gautam will also address the cadre in the coming days.
