College inks degree agreement with Saint Paul University

St. Lawrence College has added another educational partnership, this time between the college and Saint Paul University in Ottawa, that will allow graduates from seven programs to complete a bachelor’s degree in two more years, with 60 transfer credits to the university program.

Students who graduate from the St. Lawrence College social service worker, community and justice services, business, business-marketing and advertising, and marketing communications programs may pursue an honours bachelor of arts in social innovation degree.

As well, graduates from the mental wellness and addiction worker program may now articulate to the honours bachelor of arts in human relations and spirituality degree.

“We are grateful for this partnership with Saint Paul University, as it provides yet another important way for our students and graduates to continue on with their educational goals,” St. Lawrence president and CEO Glenn Vollebregt said. “These ‘2+2’ pathways provide full recognition of the credits achieved at SLC and offer exceptional opportunities for students to further their education.”

St. Lawrence offers several pathways for degree completion through partnerships with universities in Canada and around the world, including Queen’s University, Carleton University, University of Ontario Institute of Technology, as well as several in Ireland.
