Little Rock Fire Dept. receives pet oxygen masks to aid family pets in house fires

Little Rock pet parents can breathe easy knowing that their four-legged family members will have specified help in case of a house fire.

Little Rock pet parents can breathe easy knowing that their four-legged family members will have specified help in case of a house fire.

Out of the Woods Animal Rescue donated 33 pet oxygen masks, and now LRFD can supply every engine and truck with a brand new pet mask.

Pet oxygen masks are specially designed to provide oxygen and air in a more efficient manner to pets. The masks can be used to help conscious pets suffering from smoke inhalation, as well as pets that must be resuscitated after losing consciousness.
