RESULTS have been declared in the election for the Keswick East ward at Keswick Town Council.
Voters in the Keswick East ward were due to go to the polls along with others across the county to choose their town councillors on May 2.
But voting had to be delayed after the death of candidate Martin Pugmire.
A total of seven seats were up for election, which took place on Thursday.
The turnout was 28.7 per cent, with 2,227 votes and one spoilt ballot paper.
The results have been revealed as follows:

- HARWOOD, Stephen Andrew James Independent - 350
- LANSBURY, Sally Anne Labour Party - 265

- MURRAY, Jean Labour Party - 243
- PAXON, Adam Gerard Independent - 286
- PINNICK, Anthony Independent - 233
- TODD, Allan Franciscus The Green Party - 268
