Police are appealing for witnesses to a three-vehicle crash near Keswick.
The incident occurred around 4pm on October 3, on the southbound carriageway of the A591 between Keswick and Grasmere, within the dual carriageway section, south of Naddle village.
The collision involved a red Volkswagen Tiguan, black Lotus Elise and white Porsche 911.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or captured on dashcam, the collision, or seen the vehicles driving prior to the collision.
