Temporary traffic lights in Workington are due to be removed later today.
Emergency repair work to an electricity cable is being carried out on High Street, opposite the Traveller's Rest, by Electricity North West.
A company spokesman said: "Engineers are currently carrying out emergency repair work on an underground electricity cable on High Street, Workington.
"Temporary traffic lights are in place to ensure work can be carried out safely and we expect to have completed the repair and removed the traffic lights later today."
