New Delhi: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is offering four nights/five days tour package to Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The name of the package is Andaman Delights Ex Kolkata and the package tariff is Rs 23,270 per person on triple occupancy.

If you are planning to travel Andaman and Nicobar Islands then this package might be a good option for you. The tour will start from August 15, 2019, and traveling mode is by flight. The flight will depart from Kolkata at 5.40 am and arrive at Port Blair at 7.50 am. Whereas in return journey, it will depart from Port Blair at 8.30 am and reach Kolkata at 10.35 am.

The package will include trips and sightseeing of Corbyns Cove Beach, Cellular Jail, ferry to Havelock Island,  World Famous Radha Nagar Beach, Kala Pathar, Port Blair, Ross Island, etc. Ross Island houses the ruins of old buildings like Chief Commissioner’s House, Government House, Church, Bakery, Press, Swimming Pool, Cemetery, etc. and all in dilapidated condition. It will also include a visit to the Naval Marine Museum (Samudrika), Chatham Saw Mill, Forest Museum, Anthropological Museum, Fisheries Museum (Aquarium), among other places.

The package will include Kolkata-Port Blair-Kolkata return Air ticket in economy class, Air Conditioned Accommodation on double sharing basis at all places, full day tour with all transfers including airport pickup and drop, entry permits, entry tickets, ferry tickets and forest area permits wherever applicable, meals in MAP (i.e four breakfast and four dinner), assistance at all arrival and departure points.

It has certain exclusions as well such as all kind of personal expenses such as tips, laundry, telephone bills, and beverages Porterage facility, tips, insurance, liquor, room service, Camera charge, telephone calls, herbal message etc., anything which is not mentioned in the inclusions, jolly ride and snorkeling charges, optional, suggested or unspecified activities. 

According to IRCTC, on completion of the booking and payment formalities, a confirmation tour voucher will be generated. Passengers will have to pay all bank charges. The prevailing rate of exchange on the date of the transaction would be applicable. The package cost is calculated on lowest class air Fare. Airline seat confirmation is subject to availability at time of booking. Any increase in airfare or airport taxes has to be borne by the client.
