New Delhi: If you are planning to visit Andaman and Nicobar Islands then IRCTC has come with a six days and 5 nights Andaman Air package commencing from January 21, 2020. It will cover destinations such as Portblair, Havelock Islands and Neil Islands. The Andaman and Nicobar is a group of big and small, inhabited and uninhabited, a total of 572 islands, islets and rocks lying in the South Eastern Part of the Bay of Bengal. They lie along an arc in a long and narrow broken chain, approximately North-South over a distance of nearly 800 km.
The mode of travelling would be a flight in comfort class with a MAP meal plan. This package will cost you Rs 33,570 per person on double and Rs 31,950 per head on triple occupancy. The cost of the package will include return air ticket in economy class, assistance at all arrival and departure points, accommodation in twin or triple sharing basis, all transfer in AC vehicle except Havelock and Niel Island, all entry tickets, boat tickets, Port Blair- Havelock- Neil and to Port Blair in luxury cruise, five breakfast and dinner each, etc.
The exclusions in the package are all kind of personal expenses such as tips, laundry, telephone bills, and beverages porterage facility, tips, insurance, liquor, room service, camera charge, telephone calls, herbal message etc., anything not mentioned in the inclusions, any water sports activity such as scuba diving, underwater sea walk, sea scooter, glass boat cruise, etc.
According to the IRCTC website, one child between 1-4 years will be complimentary, sharing with parents in hotel accommodation only. As per the itinerary on the first day of the tour, passengers will be taken for a trip to Corbyns Cove Beach, coconut palm-fringed beach and Cellular Jail. On the next day, tourists will depart to Neil Island by ferry to Havelock Island, Natural Bridge and Bharatpur Beach and Lakshmanpur beach. Among other places, passengers will get to visit the World Famous Radhanagar Beach (Asia’s best beach), Elephanta beach, local sightseeing covering Ross Island, Naval Marine Museum, Chatham Saw Mill, Fisheries Museum, etc. and enjoy various water sports activity.
