Railways introduce new train between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Indore

A train has been introduced between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Indore. The train will be flagged off on January 27 from Indore. It will have a stoppage at Jaipur and Ajmer as well.

New Delhi: Indian Railways have introduced a new train service between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Indore Station. The train will pass through Jaipur and Ajmer. The train will start from Delhi Sarai Rohilla on January 28, 2019 and from Indore on January 27, 2019. As per Railways, it will be a bi-weekly train which will operate every Sunday and Monday.

The train will have 2 Tier AC coaches, 3 Tier AC coaches and Sleeper and General coaches. Between Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Indore stations, the train will stop at Rewari, Alwar, Dausa, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bhilwara, Chittaurgarh, Nimach, Mandsor, Ratlam and Fatehabad station. Passengers can book the tickets for the train.

Railway minister Piyush Goyal recently flagged off the new bi-weekly Rajdhani Express between Mumbai and Delhi. This Rajdhani is special for the reason that it will stop at Bhopal. None of the other Rajdhani between Delhi and Mumbai stopped in Madhya Pradesh before. Since the train is diverted to Bhopal, this Rajdhani covers 90 Km distance more compared to other Rajdhani train between Delhi-Mumbai.

According to Railways, the new bi-weekly train between Hazrat Nizamuddin and Mumbai stops at Kalyan, Nasik Road, Jalgaon, Jhansi, Agra Cantt station. The train will depart from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus every Monday and Saturday. The train has 15 coaches in total -one First AC coach, three AC 2-tier coaches, eight AC 3-tier coaches and a pantry car
