Travel Goa for less than Rs 5,000 with this IRCTC tour package! Check details inside

New Delhi: If you are planning to travel Goa then you can plan it for less than Rs 5,000. IRCTC is offering four nights and five days tour package called 'Goa Special' for Rs 4,725 per person, inclusive of GST. The bookings for this tour package can also be done through the IRCTC tourist facilitation centre, zonal offices and regional offices. 

The boarding points are Madurai, Dindigul, Trichy, Vridhachalam, Villupuram, Chennai Egmore, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Podanur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kozhikode, Kannur, Kasargod. While the deboarding points will be Kasargod, Kannur, Kozhikode, Shoranur, Palakkad, Podanur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Vridhachalam, Trichy, Dindigul, Madura. The traveling mode is Bharat Darshan Train in budget class. The departure station would be Madurai and time will be 00:05 hrs. The tour will commence on December 5, 2019. 

The package will include a train journey by sleeper class, night stay and freshen up at Dharamshalas or hall on multi sharing basis, morning tea, coffee, Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and one-litre drinking water per day. Non AC road transfers on SIC basis, tour escort and security on the train will also be included.

The tour package has certain exclusions as well such as items of personal nature i.e. laundry, medicines, entrance fee for monuments, service of Tour Guide and things which are not mentioned in the package inclusions.

According to the IRCTC website, "Leave Travel Concession (LTC) will be issued by IRCTC for the tourists who avail the Bharat Darshan tours (only the Train fare and Road transfers will be admitted) after completion of the tour."

The duration is from December 5 to December 9, 2019. There will be a visit to St Cathedral, Basilica of Bom Jesus, Calangute beach, river cruise, among many other places.

Terms and conditions-

1. Passengers have to board and deboard the train at nominated stations as per the final Railway order and local transportation expenses to be borne by tourists on their own.

2. The package tour decided by the IRCTC includes Sleeper Class/ Third AC Train Tickets, Pure Vegetarian Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner, Hall type/Hotel accommodations and Bus for local sightseeing only.

3. Please carry ID card at all items (like Driving License, Voter ID card, Ration Card, Pan Card) as proof of Identity for cross verification, by Railway Authorities and the same has to be borne by the tourist.
