Quacquarelli Symonds or QS, the ranking agency for educational institutes has released the QS Best Student City Ranking 2019. In the latest rankings, Bangalore or Bengaluru tips Mumbai and Delhi as the best student city in the country at 81st rank. The four metropolitan cities of India – New Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai all made it to the list of 120 cities marked in the list. London retained the top honours while country’s capital, New Delhi was ranked at 113.
What is interesting to note is that Mumbai was the only city from India which had found a place in the QS Best Student Cities Ranking 2018. The city has improved from its 99th rank in 2018 to 85t rank in 2019. New Delhi and Chennai, respectively, have found a place at the bottom with 113th and 115th respectively.

As for the world over, Tokyo and Melbourne have taken the 2nd and 3rd rank in the list. Out of the total 120 cities, 14 are from each United Kingdome and United States of America, followed by Australia which has a total of 7 cities in the list. Canada has a total of 5 cities in the list. China, France, Russia join India with total of 4 cities each in the list.
