2.0 box office collection day 15: Rajinikanth starrer collects Rs 177.75 crore; will it hit a double century?

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0, a sequel to 2010 blockbuster Robot, has made Rs 177.75 crore at the Hindi box office in just 15 days of its release. Will it go past Rs 200 crore mark?

Rajinikanth and Akshay Kumar starrer 2.0  continues to wreak havoc at the box office worldwide. The movie has made more than Rs 700 crore at the global box office in just 15 days of its release and this huge amount has come without the big China release. In its Hindi version, it has already beaten the lifetime box office collection of Salman Khan starrer Race 3 and is now the third highest grosser of the year behind Padmaavat and Sanju, both of which are out of reach for 2.0

2.0 (Hindi) version has gone past Rs 175 crore mark. It made Rs 1.90 crore on its day 15, taking its 15-day total to Rs 177.75 crore. The big question now is if the Akshay Kumar starrer will be able to go past Rs 200 crore mark and give him his first double century at the box office. The movie has just a week of a free run because next week will see the release of two big films Zero and KGF (Kolar Gold Fields). Also read: Unstoppable! Talking about 2.0's box office fantastic box office run, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#2Point0 crosses ₹ 175 cr mark... Has one more week to score before the biggies arrive... [Week 2] Fri 5.85 cr, Sat 9.15 cr, Sun 12 cr, Mon 3.75 cr, Tue 2.95 cr, Wed 2.40 cr, Thu 1.90 cr. Total: ₹ 177.75 cr. India biz. Note: HINDI version."

Giving us a further look at the total business so far, he wrote, "#2Point0 biz at a glance... Week 1: ₹ 139.75 cr [8 days; released on Thu] Week 2: ₹ 38.00 cr Total: ₹ 177.75 cr India biz. Note: HINDI version. SUPER HIT." 

2.0 is now around Rs 22.25 crore away from hitting a double century in its Hindi version. Will it able to go past Rs 200 crore mark? The hold this weekend will suggest.
